PRIDE: pt 1 The Rainbow

 

When I was a kid I found that this was called a rainbow, a present from God to Noah saying he would never flood the earth again.  We know now that it is formed when sunlight is scattered from raindrops into the eyes of an observer. Most raindrops are spherical rather than the often depicted 'teardrop' shape and it is the spherical shape that provides the conditions for a rainbow to be seen. In Genesis 9 8 Then God told Noah and his sons, 9 “I hereby confirm my covenant with you and your descendants, 10 and with all the animals that were on the boat with you—the birds, the livestock, and all the wild animals—every living creature on earth. 11 Yes, I am confirming my covenant with you. Never again will floodwaters kill all living creatures; never again will a flood destroy the earth.” 

A new concept of the rainbow was adopted in 1978s to refer to sexuality as being diverse and the gay flag was created by Gilbert Baker an artist out of San Francisco. 

Matthew 24:37-39 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. As in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away: so shall also the coming of the Son of Man.

If you happen to come across a Federal Pacific (Stub Lok) electrical panel, it is imperative that you take extreme caution. These panels are known for causing arc blasts, which can result in significant damage that may not be covered by insurance. As an experienced electrician, I highly advise against removing these panels, even for a 4-point inspection. In fact, during inspections in Florida, I find it best to leave that area blank and indicate that it is "unsafe to remove."
